Blac-Rac 1082
The 1082 has been in service with hundreds of law enforcement agencies throughout the United States for many years. The 1082 is now available for consumer use without electronic release.
The 1082 can secure a variety of weapons that use a pistol grip stock, including AR/M4s and other popular sporting rifles and handguns. The 1082 can be fitted with an available stock adapter kit for use with conventional stock rifles and shotguns.
The 1082 is available as a multi-weapon rack or configured with the AR Retention Post specifically for AR/M4 with Mil-Spec lower receivers.
The 1082 can be purchased for use in an overhead configuration. When the 1082 is installed in this manner, the weapon would be horizontal or parallel to the roof of the vehicle with the release lever on the bottom side. The rack is the same except that the posts are installed in the right side plate as you are looking at it. This helps prevent the weapon from falling free when the lever is moved to the open position. Always keep a hand on the weapon when the rack is opened.
This version of the 1082 is non-electric and comes with two proprietary keys.

T-Channels can be installed to any suitable, flat surface that can support the weight of the Blac-Rac and weapon. The T-Channel allows the Blac-Rac to be adjusted vertically or horizontally depending on the location it is installed.
Our Stud Mount Bracket turns the Blac-Rac 90° so the weapon is parallel to the mounting location. The Stud Mount Bracket can be installed directly to a flat surface or be used with a T-Channel.

Use a Tube-Mount to secure your BLAC-RAC to any round tube like a roll bar, railing or grab handle. Common applications are for use in UTV’s , Jeeps and boats.

The 1082 is ready for use in the harshest climates. The body is cast in 304 stainless steel for ultimate strength and corrosion resistance. The plate pads are made from a specialized polymer which is resistant to UV damage. All fasteners are stainless steel.

Blac-Rac is a paradigm shift in gun rack technology. Designed from the ground up to secure AR type weapons, the 1082 and 1070 utilizes two opposing side plates that secure the weapon while protecting the take down pins, magazine release, and trigger from tampering. The unique design does not interfere with the top rail and hand guards so there is no need to remove any installed accessories like an optic, a laser or flashlight. The single point mounting system provides enough clearance for weapons with up to a 30-round magazine to be installed.
The 1082 and 1070 can also be used to secure a variety of other firearms like conventional stock rifles, shotguns, handguns, and dozens of other widely used tactical weapons.
VERSATILE MOUNTING OPTIONS
Our gun racks were designed to be easy to install and better yet capable of going almost anywhere. Our T-Channel and Stud Mount design allows for easy concealment against walls or in the trunks of vehicles. When you need to mount to your off-road vehicle we have several sizes of Tube Mounts available. This allows flexible options for mounting virtually anywhere on a roll cage. We also have a specialized Jeep JK mount with several others in development for the JL and Gladiators.
